UTSA Engineering will host a virtual Tech Symposium on April 30th from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. The Symposium will showcase the Senior Design II teams and projects. This year there will be a cash prize ($2000) for the first place team in each Department.
Each judge will be placed in a judging team (2-3 members) based on the preferred major to review and will be provided a rubric for scoring. Each team will show a 5-7 minute video of their project and will then have 5 minutes “live” with the judges in the Zoom breakout room where judges can ask questions and gain more insight on the project.
Judging will take place between 9:00 am-12:00 pm. From 12:00-12:30 scores will be tallied and final discussions held as a judging group to determine the winners. At 12:30 pm UTSA will host a virtual awards ceremony where the winners will be announced. Below please find the event schedule.
