Awareness of Ecosystem

Company/organization contributions:

  • Use ecosystem messaging when promoting region and to communicate messaging to staff
  • Use your marketing channels to amplify ecosystem successes. Examples: “Like” others’ posts, follow other ecosystem members.
  • Inform BioMedSA of noteworthy activities so that outcomes and successes can be amplified
  • Participate in BioMedSA Marketing Committee as it develops action plan and/or calls to action. Example: use your marketing channels to amplify ecosystem talking points
  • Submit podcasts for BioSalsa, as appropriate
  • Host events and help recruit events for Biofest Days

BioMedSA will schedule a best practices meeting for marketing leaders.

Talent and Corporate Recruitment

Company/organization contributions:

  • Support corporate recruitment efforts when called upon
  • Include ecosystem messaging in discussions with vendors and clients
  • Participate in facilitated discussions to develop tactics and strategies
  • Include talent support info in recruitment materials and give to existing staff, visitors, clients and invited speakers
  • Increase agreements for reduced fees between labs and institutions

BioMedSA will facilitate discussions to develop tactics and strategies.

Advocate for Local Assets

Company/organization contributions:

  • Support companies that are here, i.e., continue to share no-cost resources.
  • Share strategic needs with the BioMedSA Advocacy Committee
  • Participate in calls to advocate to government and community leaders
  • Inform Visit San Antonio of conference suggestions

BioMedSA will continue to maintain and create marketing collateral for the ecosystem.
