Jane Shen-Gunther, MD, PhD, Colonel, US Army (retired)
Adjunct Associate Professor in Molecular Medicine at UT Health San Antonio.
Dr. Shen‑Gunther is a physician‑scientist, retired U.S. Army Colonel, and former Chief of the Department of Clinical Investigation at Brooke Army Medical Center. She has served as a gynecologic oncologist and faculty physician across major military and academic institutions, with research spanning HPV, next‑generation sequencing, epigenetics, and bioinformatics. Her work has been recognized through multiple teaching awards and the Wolfram Innovator Award.
