City of San Antonio Grants for Growth Stage Companies

For many of our members, the search for funding and grants is an inevitable part of growth. We are grateful to the City of San Antonio for approving a new program to support small businesses with high-growth potential.  Funding will be provided based on eligibility requirements assessed as part of an application. Limited funding support is available, so it is best to apply quickly.

Phase 0 Grant

The Phase 0 Grant Program assists San Antonio-based companies to diffuse the costs of developing and submitting SBIR/STTR grant proposals. The program will award $2000 to 5 companies.

Visit https://www.sanantonio.gov/EDD/Programs-Grants/Phase0 for eligibility requirements and application details.

When preparing a SBIR/STTR proposal, BioMedSA members can leverage the free SBIR/STTR Proposal Review service, staffed by volunteers who have successfully received this type of funding. Access to the review board and other SBIR/STTR information is available at https://biomedsa.org/funding-opportunities/.

It is intended to assist San Antonio startup companies that have a high potential for commercial viability to establish new markets and spur growth.
