BioMedSA’s Board of Directors approved 8 new memberships in July, 2022: Texas State University, Elder Bray & Bankler, San Antonio Vascular and Endovascular (SAVE) Clinic, SpawGlass, Hera Biotech, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Livingston Med Lab, and Def-Logix.
Texas State University is a public institution in San Marcos, Texas that was established in 1899. With over 38,000 students enrolled, Texas State is the 7th largest school in the state of Texas. With a variety of undergraduate and graduate level degree plans dedicated to help students in a variety of different fields, Texas State is excited on the continued growth of their life science degree programs. One of the universities latest undertakings is the development of Star Park, a 58-acre site on the campus that includes a 36,000 square foot facility that serves as a technology incubator for bioscience entrepreneurs. It was built to help the region’s growing number of start-ups and early-stage businesses with access to secure wet labs, clean space, conference rooms, and office space.
