The Office of Commercialization and Innovation at the University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking experienced entreprenuers or executives to provide faculty innovators with strategic support in the Entrepreneurr-in-Residence Program (EIR). This ongoing program, in 3 month contracts, seeks to leverage the experience of entrepreneurs to assess present technologies and begin the process towards commercialization. The EIR will choose a proposition, perform market research, develop a business plan and manage the process.
Entrepreneurs-in-Residence will have skills in potential commercialization strategy, building and managing teams, negotiating euity partnerships and relevant industry research and financial acumen.
