Industry members opened their doors to over 30 UT Health San Antonio graduate students on August 1st and shared an inside look at some of the biomedical facilities in San Antonio. Students were able to visit laboratories and biomanufacturing facilities, participate in a panel discussion, discuss start up processes, hear from entrepreneurs and ask industry-rich questions. BioMedSA recognizes that sharing the assets of our city with students entering this field is an essential part of our mission to support the bioscience and healthcare industry in San Antonio. The student participation and feedback was excellent and we are grateful to Amanda Ramirez, the Assistant Director of Student Success at UT Health San Antonio for coordinating, as well as each of our members who made them feel so welcome!
