An overview of the cost savings program was presented, followed by interactive presentation Sessions with 4 key suppliers in the program: VWR (lab equipment and supplies), BREX (financial lines of credit for bioscience companies), PSCBiotech (quality management and inspection software, software validation services), and BioSolutions (overview of other cost savings suppliers). As with all BioMedSA interactive events, the event platform facilitated discussions and networking.
VWR is the cost savings program most used by BioMedSA members. Members enjoy savings up to 75% off lab supplies. The program includes discount pricing on capital equipment purchases. Orders are delivered from regional distribution centers with no shipping charges and hazardous materials handling fees are waived. They offer next day delivery to most locations.
